ANNOUNCEMENT

In the leadership space we are nothing if not nimble. COVID has turned our world upside down and forced us to rethink how we work, challenge our assumptions, and pivot to provide business or services differently to meet the needs of our community. The WiLB Conference is in the advantageous position of being able to take the time to pause normal operations. Our community is incredibly special and held together by deep face-to-face connections. Our unique difference happens when we connect live and in person at the annual conference, while we break free from our everyday lives to ponder our next great steps in our career or business.

Connections are possible virtually as we all have experienced over the past few months. And there are many incredible options to participate in virtual conferences – that’s just not the WiLB space in the market. Our website will remain active, as will our social media platforms, and we will post stories from time to time. And when it is safe to meet again face-to-face – we will look at the best way to hold the WiLB Conference. It may look different, and we will let the community guide us. Before COVID hit we were exploring how to bring the WiLB Conference to different communities…and we have the tools developed to launch in that direction. Now is just not the right time. We don’t’ know what it will look like, and we don’t know when we will be back. We are always here, and still believe in supporting women leaders on their journey to their best selves.

WHAT SETS US APART?

WiLB + Born2Lead (B2L) conferences run in harmony with specific programming for younger emerging leaders! There is NO other conference anywhere that brings together younger emerging leaders with more experienced leaders and offers a tailored, integrated and concurrent program that enhances leadership and business skills for all.

We are proud to be the only women’s conference geared to leaders of all ages and experiences.

What about the men in our community?

Leadership equality is a “people” issue and not a women’s issue specifically. The B2L program is designed for all genders and the main WiLB conference and community see 99% women attendees and 20% male breakout session leaders.

We encourage action and high engagement – we are a community dedicated to learning and development and we ensure there are takeaways that translate over into the real world.
